Leo wants a thing to arrive finished and apparently easy. Virgo wants it to be right, and considers the effort part of the story rather than something to hide.
The two are neighbours on the wheel at 30 degrees, which is a semisextile: no element in common, no cross in common, nothing that lets either guess how the other operates. Adjacency is all they are given.

Leo and Virgo: common questions
They are an unlikely pairing that works through a clear division of labour rather than through natural sympathy. Nothing is shared structurally. What holds them is that each does something the other genuinely cannot, and what has to be built is a way of praising and correcting that both can hear.
Because naming the flaw is Virgo's form of attention, and the rest of the work was so obviously good it seemed unnecessary to mention. Leo hears the one comment as the whole assessment. Saying the obvious part out loud first solves nearly all of this.
