Two Leos are usually warned about competing for attention, and it is the wrong warning. What actually happens in this pairing is that both arrive in the role of the one who gives, and neither has been the other thing for years.

Generosity is read correctly here, which is not true in most of the other eleven combinations. A conjunction puts both signs at the same point on the wheel, so each recognises the other's habit of taking responsibility for how an evening goes, and neither has to explain why that matters.
