This page explains what data AstroAxis collects and how you control it.
What we collect
Birth data you enter is processed in your browser to compute charts and is not stored on our servers. Traffic statistics are aggregate and anonymous, and are collected without cookies.
Analytics
We use Clamp Analytics for aggregate traffic figures: page views, referrer, country and device type. It sets no cookies and collects no personal data. To tell a repeat visit from a new one it keeps a random identifier in your browser's local storage (clamp_aid) and one per tab in session storage (clamp_sid). Neither is linked to your identity, and neither can follow you to other sites.
Cookies and local storage
We set no analytics or advertising cookies. The only cookie is i18n_locale, which remembers the interface language you chose. Five things live in your browser's storage instead: the random analytics identifier described above, a birth date you enter, kept so the numerology tools can prefill it, a full name you enter for a numerology reading, kept for the same reason, the birth data of the last chart you calculated — name, date, time and place — kept so the calculator arrives filled in on your next visit, and the place you choose on /today — a city, or the coordinates your browser's geolocation returned, with its timezone — kept so /today opens on your own day. None of it leaves your device, and clearing the site data removes all of it.
Your rights
Analytics stays anonymous and cookieless: the identifier it keeps is a random string, not a name, an email or an account. To erase everything the site holds on your device, including that identifier, clear the site data for astroaxis.app in your browser.
