Why the shape of a thing lands before its details do

You want to know what a thing means before you will care how it works. Given a system, the question is what it is for and who it serves; the wiring diagram is somebody else's department until it becomes unavoidable.

This is why you are good at explaining. A subject that a specialist makes impenetrable, you can make interesting in three sentences, because you kept the shape and dropped the parts that were only there for completeness. Teaching, selling, briefing a board, writing an introduction — all of it works on the same ability.

It is also why you can be confidently wrong in a specific way: the summary is right and one of the facts inside it is not. The shape of an argument and the accuracy of its parts are separate things, and this mind is much better at the first.

You say what you actually think, usually faster than the room expected, and often about something everyone else had agreed to leave alone.

The motive is not cruelty. A polite fiction registers as a waste of everyone's time, and the direct sentence feels like the respectful option — you would want it said to you. What gets underestimated is how much of other people's composure depends on those fictions staying up.

The damage is rarely in the content. It is in the timing and the audience, and the surprise afterwards is genuine, because from inside it was an obvious observation delivered in a friendly tone. Sagittarius is mutable, so the recovery is fast on your side; it is often slower on the other.

The bill comes in the specifics: the clause you skimmed, the date you were sure about, the number quoted from memory that turned out to be someone else's number.

It is not incapacity — you can absolutely read the contract. It is that reading the contract is genuine work here, while forming the overall judgement was free, and the mind does not naturally allocate effort to the part that feels already handled.

What holds it together is treating the detail pass as a separate job with a separate hour and, where the stakes are high, a second person. The alternative is discovering the fine print later, in conditions where it is expensive, which is how most people with this placement eventually learn to build the habit.
